Este ensayo especulativo propone una reflexión sobre el futuro de la evolución y la coexistencia entre distintas entidades: el ser humano original, los humanos modificados genética y mecánicamente, las inteligencias artificiales y los híbridos entre humanos y animales. A partir de ejemplos históricos y avances científicos actuales, se plantea que el camino hacia una convivencia armónica con nuevas formas de vida requiere una ética basada en la cooperación. El texto explora cómo la humanidad ha comenzado a intervenir activamente en los procesos evolutivos, a través de tecnologías como la edición genética y las interfaces cerebro-computadora, y plantea escenarios futuros en los que nuevos seres, como los «humarros», podrían surgir. También se analiza el papel de la inteligencia, tanto humana como animal, y se sugieren posibilidades de comunicación y colaboración interespecies. El ensayo invita a imaginar futuros posibles y a cuestionar los límites biológicos, éticos y filosóficos de la creación de vida artificial.

ABSTRACT
This speculative essay proposes a reflection on the future of evolution and the coexistence of different entities: original human beings, genetically and mechanically modified humans, artificial intelligences, and human-animal hybrids. Drawing from historical examples and current scientific advances, it argues that a path toward harmonious coexistence with new forms of life requires an ethics grounded in cooperation. The text explores how humanity has begun to actively intervene in evolutionary processes, using technologies such as genetic editing and brain-computer interfaces, and presents future scenarios where new beings—such as the «humarros— might emerge. It also examines the role of intelligence, both human and animal, and suggests possibilities for interspecies communication and collaboration. The essay invites readers to imagine possible futures and to question the biological, ethical, and philosophical boundaries of artificial life creation.
